Education

Iā€™m a student at the University of California, Los Angeles majoring in Political Science with a concentration in American Politics and minoring in Global Health. Originally from Montgomery, New Jersey, I have been living in LA for almost three years and loving it!

During summer 2019, I studied at the London School of Economics. I was able to live in the beautiful Covent Garden neighborhood while learning from inspiring and welcoming professors. While in London, I took two classes- Global Communications and Cultural Politics and Environmental Policy. Experiencing a new culture with diverse peers broadened my views and contextualized class content in new and exciting ways.

In Winter 2020, I completed the UCDC program. This competitive program sends 30 UCLA students to intern and live in Washington, DC for three months while receiving credit towards their majors. Through this program, I took a full set of classes while interning four days a week. In this program, I also wrote a 30 page research paper about the effects of gun violence on community health.

During my summer in London, I was able to meet UCLA Chancellor Gene Block during a reception for alumni and students in the United Kingdom.
